Hello,
I am puzzled by the beta-function for g1 produced by SARAH.
The output for the beta function reads 41/10 g1^3 while in the literature it is 41/6 g1^3.
The other two beta functions are in agreement.
I would appreciate it if clarify the issue.
Best
Keyhan.

Re: beta-function g1
Hi,
the difference comes from the GUT normalisationn sqrt(5/3) which is sometimes included in the results, sometimes not. In the SM model file for SARAH, the normalisation is set.
Cheers,
Florian

Hello,
Thank you for the reply.
I would like to remove the GUT renormalization in the code.
Can you hint on how to do this task?
Best regards,
Keyhan

That's done via parameters.m: http://stauby.de/sarah_wiki/index.php?t ... rameters.m
Please check the wiki or the manual for these questions.

Re: beta-function g1
Thank you for the reply.
Meanwhile I got another problem. I get the beta-functions in terms of traces over SM Yukawa couplings.
I did not find any way to compute these traces in the code, or to do them manually where to find the Yukawa matrices.
I would appreciate any hint in this point.
Best wishes,
