Yukawa couplings with extra vector-like leptons

Post by ldarme » 12. Apr 2018, 15:12

Dear Florian,

I am analysing a simple toy model where new vector-like leptons could have a sizeable mixing with the Standard model ones. Eventually, Spheno always outputs the exact masses for the Standard Model leptons, hence I would expect that the leptons Yukawa couplings are determined on-the-fly so that the three light leptons eigenstates get exactly the experimental masses. Is this what happens or is a different procedure used?

I am asking mainly because the next step for me is to get a Lmu-Ltau model working where I had to enter manually the Ye Yukawa for the three generations, so I want to make sure that whatever procedure is used in the previous case will also work after dissociating electron, muon and tau in the code.

Many thanks in advance,
Best,
Luc

Hi,

Spheno writes for the SM fermions always the pole masses. So, your observation in not surprising
However, there are indeed internal routines to extract the MS/DR Yukawas in a given model is including one loop corrections. Maybe, these pages are helpful:

http://stauby.de/sarah_wiki/index.php?t ... orrections

However, I just see that the pages a bit outdated, because this is also implemented for non Susy now.

Cheers
Florian
