Field Dependent mass matrix

Post by jyotiranjan » 1. Oct 2016, 08:07

Hi Florian,

Is it possible to extract field dependent mass matrix
from SARAH ? If so, could you mention the commands.

Hi,

You need to give VEVs to a field, and you will get the mass matrices as functions of them. Is that what your meant, or did I misunderstand your question?

Cheers

Hi Florian,

Thanks for your response. I expanded "Hu" as follows.
Hu= vu/Sqrt[2]+ (phi+i sigma)/Sqrt[2].

I just wanted to get the double derivative of relevant
interaction Lagrangian and that would be function of
vu, phi and sigma. And if I give vev i.e. phi->0 and
sigma->0, I would recover usual mass matrix after EWSB.

Hi,

sorry for the late reply, but I missed that your problem was not yet solved.
Well, I think what you can do is to define a VEV for the real and imaginary component.

H->1/Sqrt(2) (vR + i vI + phi + i sigma)

SARAH will give you the mass matrices in terms of vR and vI. I think the impact of phi and sigma will just be a shift in these VEVs, or? So you can take the SARAH results and replace

vR -> vR + phi
vI -> vI + sigma

Or would there be any contribution missing?
