Re: How to get Metastable region in SM

Thank you so much. I will check the paper you mentioned.

Thanks,

Re: How to get Metastable region in SM

Thanks for the explanation. I have one more question, not related to Vevacious package. Is it always possible to write the effective potential like \lambda_eff (H*H) for any model (with extra fermion or scalar) where quartic coupling are smaller than \lambda ?

Thanks,
Sanjoy

How to get Metastable region in SM

Hi, I was trying to reproduce the metastability region for SM. I gave the input value of \[Lambda] as 0.25 in EW scale and varied the GUT scale to 1.00E+17 and i got the \[Lambda] value around - 0.007. Now if you see the calculation of the paper arXiv:1512.01222, if \[Lambda] lies between 0 and -0.0...

Re: RGe Running from EW scale to Planck Scale

Hi, I tried as you ask to do. I fixed the GUT scale to 1.00E+19, and varied the renormalization scale from 1.00E+02 to 1.00E+19. But I can only go to scale 1.00E+16, beyond that scale I am getting the following error, Problem with boundary conditions at EW scale Note: The following floating-point ex...

RGe Running from EW scale to Planck Scale

Hi, Is it possible to Run RG from EW scale to planck scale in SPheno ? I noticed that for high scale SPheno, one can give input at GUT scale and run down to EW scale. But like in SM we know the value for \[Lambda] at EW scale only and we run down to planck scale to check the value there. I was using...

Re: TypeError: fullTunneling() got an unexpected keyword argument 'phi' for "B-L-SM" model generated by SARAH

Hi, Maybe you are right. I attached the LesHouches.inBLSM file. When I increased the vXinput from 3.00E+03 to 3.500E+03, its working and I am getting the following results, Result summary (not recapping warnings): <reference version="1.2.00" citation="arXiv:1307.1477, arXiv:1405.7376 (hep-ph)" /> <s...

TypeError: fullTunneling() got an unexpected keyword argument 'phi' for "B-L-SM" model generated by SARAH

Dear All, I was trying to run Vevacious for the model "B-L-SM". I got the following results ending with TypeError: fullTunneling() got an unexpected keyword argument 'phi' , Setting up the VevaciousRunner object took 0.00162 seconds. Please enter the option of homotopy method 1. The polyhedral homot...

Hi Florian, I was trying to use Vevacious for the model B-L-SM model and I also got the same error " unexpected keyword argument 'phi' " , tunnelingCalculator.npoints being given 22 falseVacuumArray = [ 247.654147 2500. ] trueVacuumArray = [ -7.71967874e-08 3.58859398e+03] Traceback (most recent cal...
